Manual Setting Up to Set Up the Roadrunner.com Mail Account


1. Launch Mailbird the Lite. Simply click on three horizontal lines located in the lower left-hand corner. then select the Settings

Remember that Lite users are able to have a maximum of one account. If you're making your first attempt to set up a roadrunner email address for the first time begin with step 4.

Step 2. Switch on the Accounts tab, and then click on the "Add" button

Step 3. Enter your information in the Add account screen, and then select Continue

4. If Mailbird recognizes your IMAP or POP3 settings for your email account then Mailbird will show this window. It is necessary to input your password before you are able to continue. You are however capable of editing those settings using " Edit Server Settings".

5.If Mailbird cannot find the settings for your account, or if you select to modify server settings and then Mailbird will show this screen. Fill in your personal details on the screen, and after that click to continue. Make sure that if you're using Secure SSL or TLS Settings, select the encryption that corresponds to the present field.

  • Incoming Server Type for ROADRUNNER.COM Select IMAP
  • This is Incoming Server name is ROADRUNNER.COM You can enter mail.twc.com
  • Username for ROADRUNNER.COM You must enter your complete email address
  • Password for ROADRUNNER.COM Password for ROADRUNNER.COM - Enter your password
  • The name of the server that is outgoing for ROADRUNNER.COM Enter mail.twc.com
  • Input the ROADRUNNER.COM account email and password in your username as well as password fields.
  • General port information for the server's incoming and outgoing servers
    • POP
      • Secure Port: 995 and Security Type SSL/TLS (Accept all certificates)
      • Unsecured Port 110, Security Type No (Accept every certificate)
    • IMAP
      • Secure Port: 993 and Security Type SSL/TLS (Accept all certificates)
      • Insecure Port: 143 and Security Type No (Accept all certificates
    • SMTP
      • Outgoing (SMTP) Secure Port: 465 and Security Type SSL/TLS (Accept all certificates)
      • Outgoing (SMTP roaming server) Secure Port: 587 and Security Type SSL/TLS (Accept all certificates)
      • Outgoing (SMTP) Port: 25, and Security Type No (Accept any certificates)
      • Outgoing (SMTP roaming server) Unsecure Port: 587 and Security Type none (Accept any certificates)

6. Click to close and you're done!

Manual setup for ROADRUNNER.COM email account on Opera Mail

Step 1: Launch Opera Mail. Select Email, then click Next

Second step: Type the name of your organization, ROADRUNNER.COM email address, and company into the fields that correspond to them. After that, go to the Next

Step 3. Type in your login username (your complete ROADRUNNER.COM email address) and password for your email account. Choose your Email Type of Account ( POP or IMAP). We will select IMAP. Next, click Next

4.Type the name of your Incoming Server(IMAP) to ROADRUNNER.COM with the address mail.twc.com while the Outgoing server(SMTP) name is mail.twc.com. Be aware that if you are using Secure TLS Options, make sure to check for the "Use Secure Connection (TLS)" option for both Incoming and Outgoing mails. Select to close.

5. Click in the Menu (Opera Mail) tab in Opera and choose mail accounts.

Step 6Select which account configuration you want to make, and then select Edit. Edit

7. Click under the server tab. For IMAP, this port needs to be 993. For the outgoing SMTP server, the port number must be 587. The authentication setting is changed to AUTH login. Be aware that if you are using Secure TLS Configuration, you must check for the "Secure connections (TLS)" checkbox on both inbound and outgoing mails. Here is the general information about the port.

  • POP
    • Secure Port: 995, and Security Type SSL/TLS (Accept all certificates)
    • Unsecured Port 110, Security Type No (Accept every certificate)
  • IMAP
    • Secure Port: 993and Security Type SSL/TLS (Accept all certificates)
    • Insecure Port: 143, and Security Type No (Accept all certificates
  • SMTP
    • Outgoing (SMTP) Secure Port: 465 and Security Type SSL/TLS (Accept all certificates)
    • Outgoing (SMTP roaming server) Secure Port: 587. Security Type SSL/TLS (Accept all certificates)
    • Outgoing (SMTP) Port: 25, and Security Type No (Accept any certificates)
    • Outgoing (SMTP roaming server) Unsecure Port: 587. Security Type No (Accept any certificates)

Step 9:Click OK and close to complete

Congratulations! You're done and are now able to access an email service on Opera.
